If You're using Network Marketing Leads, why do you need a marketing system?
Let's take lead calling for example. When I say lead calling, I'm referring to buying purchased leads from a lead vendor and calling them up. There's nothing wrong with the act of calling someone up who requested more information on something. That's what you should do.
But the lead companies have made your job just a little bit tougher by:
Using mis-leading advertising to get people to opt-in thinking it's for a job. The word "home business" is missing on a lot of lend vendor's opt-in pages.
This is the reason that you get so many people who say they were looking for a work at home job, not a home business. It's not the leads fault; the advertising they responded to was so vague that it could've meant work at home job or a work at home business.
Although there are a lot of people who are looking for work at home businesses, there are just as many if not more who want just a work at home job. When people tell you they want X, don't try to sell and convince them that they actually want Y.
Many network marketers who are faced with so many leads who turn out to be job seekers, then try to beg, and convince these job seekers that they should get a business. Does this describe your actions?
Then the begging convincing game is on. That's when your desperation starts to rear its ugly head. You either quit network marketing altogether or you keep buying the leads hoping to get better at recruiting the job seekers.
And this all started because the leads generated by the lead company wasn't specific enough in its advertising for a home business. If you think it's an oversight on the lead vendors part and not deliberate, maybe you better guess again.
The lead vendors are in business to make money. Plain and simple. One way to do that is to cast a wide net and what they catch is what they catch-job seekers and all. It's your job and your skills that's going to convert these people into buyers of your opportunity. The problem is of course is that most people don't have the skills to convert a job seeker in an opportunity buyer.
That's ok, because most lead companies now offer training! They either have their own training calls or they hook up with a known network marketing trainer to have them train the buyers of their leads. It's a catch-22 situation. If the lead company produced better qualified leads, then you just may not have needed their training! Now this is a blanket statement about lead companies, so don't think that all lead companies are like this because they're not.
If you're not having the results you want, or did not get the results you were looking for, then you may want think twice about purchasing leads. There is always a better way.
