"It doesn't take any guts to collect a predictable pay check." Taken from Joe Schroeder's Part-time Millionaire.( Warrior's Nest Home Business Study course.)
What does this mean to you? It's not meant to "call you out" on your existence in the rat race called a job…or maybe it is.
If you're happy with your condition in life, then there's really no need to complain at all. After all, you are the master controller of your life…it's easily within your reach to make a change if you so desire. But know this-it will take courage. Are you up to that?
You must know that becoming an entrepreneur will take you stepping a little out of your comfort zone, but that is the price the wealthy took to get to where they are now. It's also the price you must pay, unless you want to remain one of those who works for the three percent-ers.
Some people just exist of a sure thing. They play it safe throughout their life and wonder why their life is unchanging and predictable. Their future looks bleak, because they can't see past their predictability of their existence.
Now, if you want to become an entrepreneur, you will lose some of the predictability you've been trained and accustomed to. It's the rules of the engagement. If you don't want to play by the rules and the uncertainty that comes with entrepreneurialism, then live your life gutless in the trenches of a boss who you probably don't like anyway.
If you want to just marinate in the situation you created for yourself, and don't see the value of being your own "shot caller", then get out of the way of those who are ready for a change. Collect your check and step aside. Freedom rings for those that want to hear it.
